Paradise (in which I ramble about clothes for the first time)

Mid-riff tops are a pretty popular trend as of late, and while I'm not one to jump on bandwagons, I instantly fell in love with the one I'm wearing above. It's one of the three things I received from Apparal, and is also my favorite. The fabric is so soft and stretchy, and the detailing in the back is the prettiest. I can almost hear my mom going, "you're wearing that top again?!" because I'd probably wear it out so much.
I was originally going to wear it with my denim shorts from Topshop, but since I couldn't find them anywhere, I settled for this denim skirt, also from Topshop. It was a bit too plain, and wearing a belt made it look revolting (I'm exaggerating, but still) so I settled for tying my Brandy Melville sweater around my waist. It's not like I could wear it under the scorching Philippine heat anyway... :-( The flower crown trend, on the other hand, seriously needs to be toned down a little. Like, as soon as possible. Everyone and their mamas have been sporting them, and I'm honestly getting a wee bit sick of it already. Which is funny, because I'm wearing one in this outfit. #Hypocrite #PseudoIrony It's a pretty trend - that's for sure. And it makes for pretty/girly/dainty outfits when worn right, but man... Is there such a thing as individuality anymore? (I'm not 100% serious. Don't take me seriously.)

The crown I'm wearing above is from Wild Hearts, Cher Lui Pio's store. I got the crown way back in Wanderland, but never had the chance to wear it, until now. So, cheers for that, aye? And lastly, look at my damn shoes. Look at it. Look at how pretty they are. I used to think it was silly that Imelda Marcos 'collected' (is that the right term?) shoes back when I was younger, but now I know how she feels (or... felt). It's not that I'm materialistic or anything - maybe a little. But... Look at those shoes. Like, really. Look at it.
