Julia invited Angel and I to her school fair last Saturday. It was a lot of fun and their Variety show was absolutely amazing.

Tea and Toast

Went out with Chesca yesterday after a long time of not seeing each other. We watched a Filipino movie, which is something we rarely do. It was funny. The mall was extra busy, but I'm glad no one gave me funny looks while posing for the camera. People tend to do that here - mind other people's business... It's the one thing I hate the most here. But I'm slowly starting to learn how to not care. :)

We were actually pleasantly surprised when we gave one of our favorite (well, not really... we just go there a lot) stores a visit and saw that they had a lot of new items that tickled our fancy, compared to our last visit. We were joking about how it felt like the whole mall transformed since the last time we were there. "Maybe we shouldn't go to this mall too often, then." Needless to say, we pretty much spent all our money in that single store.

AUSTRALIA: Gold Coast Photo Diary

I have a proper excuse for my lack of posts.

Just recently, my family and I (excluding my brother) went to Australia for vacation. Our first stop was Surfer's Paradise in Gold Coast, Queensland. We pretty much lounged about and shopped a little bit. I personally enjoyed the breeze while strolling down the beach. We weren't able to swim though, as it was too cold for our tropical climate-used selves.

Heartbreak Kid

So the title is derived from one of the songs of my new favorite band, Woodlock. I found them performing this song in Pitt Street in Sydney, and I fell in love with it immediately after. You can listen to it through the video below. I'm completely fascinated by all the young musicians busking in the streets of Australia, it kind of made me wish we had the same thing going on in the Philippines.

Music aside, I'd like to talk about my favorite of all the outfits I wore in Australia, which is the one pictured above. I never thought it was possible to be in love with a dress so much until I laid my eyes upon this one. I love the heart-shaped cut out in the back and the semi-scooping neckline. It could be worn either casually or to formal events, and I can see myself wearing it a lot of times due to it being very versatile.

Oh and I finally got myself a pair of creepers. I've been wanting one for ages and I was actually been dreaming about my trip to Australia before it happened and I always seemed to end up buying a pair of creepers. I guess it's the shopaholic side of my subconscious working... They're a bit loose as it was the last pair available, but they're really really comfortable. I feel like I'd be wearing these shoes everywhere from now on. It's kind of like my pair of white chucks, except I could just slip my feet into this as opposed to having to tie the shoelaces on my Converse. Plus points for laziness!

These photos were taken in Melbourne, Victoria. It's so so so beautiful there. My words will not give it justice :(
