I also said in another post that I wished the people of my country seldom chose comfort over style and instead chose comfort and style. I suppose it is understandable though, considering the usual weather in the Philippines makes it harder for
However, that is not an excuse for you to not make the most out of your wardrobe and depend on your typical plain t-shirt and shorts combination. There's so much you can do to make such typical combinations turn out to be extraordinary, and a quick search through the internet proves it. Going back to my main topic, Australia's been so so lovely. Chesca and I were reluctant to leave due to having fallen in love with its people, scenery, and the mix of cultures all found in one place. The Australian lifestyle is also very wonderful, and people there don't look down on measly jobs that are otherwise considered lame in my country. Everyone is so friendly and hospitable. I've also learned how to skate (despite losing my balance after getting the hang of it for going too fast) after Chesca and I got skateboards (namely Slime and Bambi, but I got two, actually) that looked similar to the famous Penny boards. So far, I only know how to cruise on them, but our boards were left at the airport in Australia due to checking them in far too late to catch the plane. Can't wait to receive them though, so that I could practice some more. I also left my Obey beanie on the plane, which I'm punching myself for because it cost so much. We'll try and see if we could reclaim it from some kind of lost and found. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. 'Til next time.
